In May 2018 the 20:55 Club visited the Strathspey Railway, Aviemore, to inspect progress of the restoration of 45025 (behind), the engine that hauled the last steam powered Belfast Boat Express 40 years previously. We rented a house in Newtonmore and had a very enjoyable three days. The staff at Aviemore shed hauled the engine outside specially for us.
